Hi
The collar idea might not be too good.....since igs like to climb chances are it would get caught on a branch or something and might cause harm or even be fatal to the ig. Right off hand the only thing I can think that would be safe but yet help would be a micro chip.....like they use for Dogs and Cats. One problem with this is...not sure if anyone would check a ig for the chip. Micro chips are coming down in price....around $20.00 to 40.00....they insert it under the igs skin on the back side of it's neck....if by chance the ig would get brought in....NOTE: AND IF they check it for a Chip ( using a scanner) it would bring up on their computer WHO owns the ig. You might want to check with your Vet...( he will probably be surprised) to see if he can do this with a ig. Harry's Dad

I believe in the future it will come down to this method of tracking your loved ones. Also..which is really spooky....they will be able to locate whatever has a chip by satillite
