My Sebastian is beginning to start his breeding season. He is in a new enclosure this year and gets to free roam every day for a good amount of time. He will lunge toward me every time I walk past the enclosure, but as soon as I open the cage door, he is my sweet little puppy again. It's so funny to see him jump toward's me and then close his eyes for head rubbies. Let's hope it doesn't get too much worse - the last few years he's been a bit more aggressive and the season isn't near over yet!
:I posted before that my iguana is going through intense breeding season. Anyway, he has started doing the strangest thing. He will try to leap at me/charge when I come close to the cage now. When I talk to him and tell him no no most of the time he will then lie completely flat and push his nose through the cage bars as far as he can. I quickly figured out that he wanted me to stroke his snout! This is an iguana who doesn't really like to be petted normally. Then he will back up and repeat the whole thing again. Is it just me or is this strange?
