.....regression........correlation.......flashbacks to a living hell in Stats 101 and 102... lol
Personally, I think people who truly love these animals for what they are, and for the experience they have to offer look beyond the sex. Sure, there will be some with sex preferences, but for the most part people will just want to give these
pet store/adoption animals a good home and the care not only they deserve, but need as well.
It's been many years since I had my Soni (male)... last time that friend of mine got in touch with me he said Soni grew to 6 feet!
I do not know of exact weight and girth.
Not to spoil the noble statistical study, but deep down, there are 3 types of iguana purchasers:
those who just want a "cool" pet.
those who want to keep them, care for them, and cherish them for what they are,
and all the above, those like us, regardless of sex. Cuz they are the f%@#*& coolest herps of all!
The idea is sound, but the rule of thumbs with the jowls, size, pores, plugs, dewlap, etc. are enough for most to know and make their decision(s).
Still.........very interesting and it would be nice for this project to produce good results.
Regards,
- IJ
