I wrote to the carnival that brought the vendor with the iguanas and copied the counties.
I haven't heard from him yet. I did get a letter from one of the counties written by a woman who identifed herself as a parent of a recipient of a baby iguana several years ago. She appreciates our efforts to ban this practice.
That make two possitive responses from counties where this has occurred. We got the State Fair to stop several years ago.
I just wanted to let people know that it is possible to get a positive response to your efforts and that working this issue over the winter is a great way to get the Fair sponsors to ban it.
