The supplies I listed managed to keep my babies alive and warm through 4 days of no heat a few winters ago. On side note on the hunter heat packs... I have always put them in a sock or something like that so that it doesnt directly contact the skin. Then I will put them in the smaller enclosures (smaller areas will hold heat better and when they are chilled, they dont really need to move). I often use rubbermaid/sterlite containers with airholes drilled in them. I also have fashioned locking mechs with drilling holes in the handles and using a butterfly nut and a bolt to keep it closed...
We just have a few inches, but hey im sure we will catch up... If it makes you feel any better it is too cold to snow here and has been hanging around in single digits...
