Just bought some more of the heat packs this week. Thats what made me think of it. With our ever increasing animal base, I needed more water bottles and heat packs. Last year we lost our furnace and I depleted all my supplies... So it seemed fitting! ;)

:Emergency kits are an excellent idea - for everyone. Between (depending on where you live) snow/ice storms, floods, mudslides, tornadoes, hurricanes, fire, and, my personal favorite, earthquakes, there's a need for everyone to have emergency kits for humans and their animals well stocked and easily accessible at all times.
:There are some other ideas in my Quake! Living On The Fault Line article. ;)
