Iguanas are very territorial. When they were free roaming they could get away from each other's "space". In the cage they are crammed together and the stress is increasing their natural aggression. In other words she is trying to run the other out of her territory and he won't/can't go so she attacks. I would keep them separated or it could escalate and end up with one getting seriously injured or killed.
