Thank you for quickly responding to my post, all of you are great! I really appreciated the link into your site Melissa, I had not found that last time I looked it up. Anyways, I found a vet that is two and a half hours from me so I will give them a call on Monday. I would like to see if my regular vet is knowledgable in reptile care as well, he is an incredible vet and willing to learn! I printed off all that was on Melissa's website on abcesses and addresses to other vets with reptile knowledge. I will apologize now for my scattered writing! For those that asked he has been acting kind of quiet, really likes to cuddle up to me, and it seems that his scales have been stretched. I have him under the proper lighting and he eats well, but does seem to be more picky lately. His cage is getting to small for him, so I am in the process of buying one, but the cost of them is outrageous. He is not cramped by any means, it is just that he does not have much activity space for as long as he is. His color is still bright green. I really think that he scratched himself during the shedding process, he always scratches when he sheds! His cage is picked clean daily, with fresh water and clean bowl for food. I am just lost to how he may have gotten it. I hope that I can get him to a vet and he will be okay quickly! Once again thank you, and I will keep you all updated.
