You need to tell us more about his diet, lighting, heat, cage, etc.
It sounds like some kind of abcess...and only a vet can open it up if need be. This is often a sign of bigger problems like metabolic bone disease. He needs unfiltered UV light, calcium rich veggies, (and probably a lot more at this point). He may need some calcium injections if he has MBD. Keep his environment very clean. Does he have other symptoms...like looking very muscular in the legs or having a rubbery jaw or deformed mouth?
