A bump could be an abscess, which could be a secondary sign of an underlying systemic infection, so you can't just treat it with a topical OTC antibiotic...you need to get to a reptile vet, or to a vet who is willing to learn and will contact a reptile vet out of the area.

Another way to locate reptile-knowledgeable vets is through the members of the local (or not so local) Herp Societies & Rescues.
