:I know this is the iguana forum...
:I too, have an iguana - but this is not about him tonight!

:This message is for reptile owners who keep a variety of lizards namely geckos.

:Not too long ago my BF received his first set of geckos from a reputable breeder. All adults, two females and one male. He keeps them in his bedroom in a 20gal. tank. The whole gecko scene is new to us. We are eagerly seeking any ideas and information that will be helpful in maintaining the comfort and security of our gecko’s home.

:*The Story*
:We were watching a movie on TV together...
:I got up to get a slice of sweet potato pie out of the kitchen. As I put the slice of pie on my plate, my BF calls from the room and exclaims that two of our geckos were mating. So, I run back in the room all excited and turn on the light. Sure enough… the male gecko had one of our females by the back of the neck and had just finished mating with her. I was shocked (in a good way)… As you know, we just got our geckos. We really weren’t prepared for the mating scene just yet… but it happened…
: Now we are focusing on our (potentially) pregnant female and the laying of her eggs.

:What we don’t know:
:1). How long after conception will it take the pregnant female’s eggs to develop?
:2). How long will it take before she actually lays her eggs?
:3). Any thing you think we need to know to make this event as productive as possible***

:All info. would be extremely helpful!

:Thank U All :o)

:I am posting this messege in this forum also because I know you all are great with responses.

:Don't worry though... I have posted this message in the gecko forum too :o)
