an abcess. I treated once one ig with an abcess on just the same place.I perforated it with a sterilized needle and a lot of pus got out.I cleaned the area and put some BETADINE on it. It healed very well. But without have seen a photo I cannot tell if it is an abcess or not.

I know that it has been asked that people not write about helath concerns but rather get then to a reptile vet quickly. But that is the problem-there are no vets around where I live that are familiar with the reptiles. Anyways, my Iguana has a small, raised bump under his left eye, above the mouth. It seems to be getting bigger. I am not sure what happened to him/her, but need some assistance. I looked inside his mouth but found no difference in color or any sores. The bump is about the size of a dime, under the scales. I have put perioxide on it but find it to only bubble on the mouth line. I have also put some Neosporin on it. I hope none of this is harmful, but living in BFE(Central Wyoming) I did what I could think of! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If I were take him to a regular vet, is there an antibiotic I can ask for? Thank you in advance!
