Even though he's tame I never take Zok outside without a hipleash on. He is just too fast and I won't take the chance. The ambient temp should be 80 to 85 with a basking area 95-100. The humidity should be a round 60-70 percent.
I put mine in the tub in the morning and evening and just turn a little warm water on. He goes almost immediately. Then I let him have his soak. this would be good to help get the rest of the skin off that tail. And a daily soak is good for them anyway. It is sometimes a chjallenge to get an iguana to take new foods but I have yet to see one willingly starve himself to death just for stubborness. Stop feeding him the banana and give him the greens. He is not going to starve in a couple of days and it may turn into contest to see who is more stubborn, you or the ig.
