:eat the tomatoes (dont know about the leaves)
Probably not, as they're toxic...!
:she said he stoped eating for them
Well, no duh! since they were keeping him outside - I presume with no heat? It's been way too cold for igs outside lately, even during the days, with temps getting up only into the 70s (sorry, all you midwest and eastern folks! ;)
:Howevere when we got him he look overweight I gave him a warm bath tonight ... and he went to the restroom in the water ... now he looks so underweight.
Since he was too cold to eat properly, he was also too cold to digest what he was able to eat, and so too cold to poop. That can give igs (and other animals) a filled-out appearance that disappears as soon as they are warm enough (or otherwise receive the right stimulation) that enables them to poop.
I see from one of your other posts that you're feeding him the salad in my ICFS article - and providing him the heat, etc., that's discussed in there. Good! Because of his abused condition, you might also want to read the Fluids and Fluid Therapy in Reptiles and Emaciation (Starvation) Protocol articles to help him get in better shape more quickly, and better able to digest what he is eating. You've already got a reptile vet, so remember to take a fresh poop with you when you go. With the kind of stress the poor guy (the ig, not the vet :) has been under, clinical levels of internal parasites wouldn't be surprising...
Let us know how it goes!
