:I keep talking to people in VA who tell me that they are driving their iguana to Florida to release it. I tell them that I am sure that the reptile owners in Florida will love it when reptiles are banned because of people abandoning their pets and mention Hawaii's anti green iguana program. People need to be told and told that it is not cool to dump a non native species.
Course, they dump iguanas in Virginia too. Up to a month ago, I had two strays in my living room.
