I think what's ailin Miss Tude...is pyoderma..a bacterial skin infection that is helped with antibiotics and topicals simultaneously. If left untreated IT IS FATAL. But as Ms. Tude recently had Baytril for her swollen leg. maybe she won't have to go back just yet.

The way it works...New enclosure...>ig gets little sharp points of claws whacked off...> new house...> ig can't climb up slick cherry branches because mommie whacked off the tips of my fingernails, and she forgot to cut grooves on the branches or wrap rope around em so I got somethin to hang on to....>ig falls & goes boom..>
mom freaks when she sees my new muscular front leg.....>takes me to doc....>doc gives me Baytril (now only if Mom & Babyherp wouldve bought stock in Baytil they'd be millionares by now!!)...Baytril is for swelling and infection doc tells mom its an antibiotic...infection? hmmm....>
baytril kicks in..Im feelin pretty good...muscular leg lookin alright now.....>ut oh...>what happened to the infection....>it traveled...>spring breakout!!! ....it showed up on Miss Tude's skin......hopefully this will help...for the next two weeks if it persists I'd take her back to the vet for more Baytril...her skin infection is secondary to the fall & subsequent swelling....
TaDa!!! Does that sound anything near close?
