I've used the aloe (pure...from the health food store) before and it worked great. I had to put it on 2x day for about 5 days, but along with the soaks, it seemed to really help.

:I heard that putting vaseline on Kira's spikes will help all the old shed come off. It looks like a lot is there...the poor girl. Has anyone else tried this? If so, how long will it take for all that shed to come off...does it do it by itself or do I have to help it along?
