Because iguana tails vary from 2-3 x the body length, we tend to talk about iguanas in terms of snout-vent length (SVL) rather than snout-tail length (STL). So, what's Boris' SVL and age? ;)
My Iguana Age and Expected Size has ranges for normal growth rate of healthy iguanas. The best way to "see" him grow is to measure (SVL and STL) monthly or every couple of months.
Of course, I do that and I still don't "see" how big they are until I see someone else holding them. ;)
