Two of my iguanas have broken toes. They climb and move fine with them like that.
Broken toes are often a sign of underlying calcium problems so yes a vet check-up is needed. If calcium is ruled out, you can then move on to something in his habitat. Is there something that it could have gotten hooked on? Is there thread wrapped around the fingers at all? Is there a chance it got hooked on the screen.
Vets ususally dont treat broken digits on iguanas simply because splinting ect is next to impossible. Usually in any broken issue they suggest upping calcium for a short time to aid in healing and reducing amount of climbing.

:im not sure if this has happened to any one else, but i have just recently noticed my juvinile iguana has his long toe bent so the claw is facing up instead of down. also one of his last back toe can bend back far as if it were brocken. is there any possible treatment that will help or let his toes heal?
