Sorry, I didnt understand your question...Do you want to know if Ive seen some igs that were already altered?No, I havent.And I didnt want to.I saw a few pics of a female that have been altered on this FORUM.Her owner posted photos of the whole operation and it was very sad to see that little ig suffering so much.The pos-operation was very sad to see, too!.
I also read that if you alter a male iguana he'll never acquire the beautiful male characteristics, like the large size, majesty, big spikes...He will look like a weird female!!As I told you before I have 3 males.2 of them are very friendly because I raise them since they were babies.The other one-Godzilla, 6 years old-I rescued when he was already an adult.He was caught from the wild by the man that sold him to me.He was very aggressive when I bought him but now he is a little bit grumpy but this is personality!I dont see any difference for more or for less on his habitual grumpiness(may I say that in English?)during his breeding season.
Dont do to your animals what you dont want to be done to you!!

::If breeding season aggression is a major concern for you, there are plenty of female igs than need adopting too. :-) Female igs are less prone to those breeding season behavioral changes, although they may get a little bitchy sometimes too. Spaying an iguana is a dangerous procedure, and generally vets only do it if egg-binding is or is going to become a serious problem. I don't know what sort of attitude difference might or might not result from a female iguana being spayed, but there are a few people here who have gotten their girls spayed. Maybe they'll have some input. But behavior is generally not such a concern for the females.
