I am a little concerned. Beanie is shedding on her head
and back of neck. Today it looked as if she was having trouble
breathing and it appeared that her nostrils were plugged. She
hates baths but I gave her one anyway and used q-tips to clean
her nostrils out. Does this sound like a respiratory infection?
Or could this be from salt buildup or maybe the shed itself.
She does not seem sick and seems to breath very deeply when
she is moving around or when I am handling/talking to her. Is
this normal. I know at rest you cannot see her breathing. I have been misting her but I guess a bath everyday is in order
as I she is having a few problems shedding her spines. Do
you think she needs a vet appt? Is this breathing the norm?
