well... For one, i know that Iguana's have atleast some form of intelligence.

If being an excellent escape artist doesn't show intelligence, then atleast fierce determination. When Tarzan's door was in disaray, i had to patch up part of the top with some paper. I did my best, but he figured out that the top white stuff was at the mercy of his nails, and escaped from his cage many times. The whole water tub training is probably mostly instinct, but why do some iguanas do it and others not?

Why do they seem to recognize people, or react to certain colors / shirts / other stuff and not others? It's got to be a sign that SOME kind of gears are turning in their brains.

They know that cats / birds / dogs are predatory animals, and usually freak out (tarzan w/dogs, anyway [no experience w/cats/birds]). I dunno.... i don't think they're rocket scientists, and aren't the smartest of animals... but I do think they aren't given enough credit as reptiles for their intelligence.
