...orange food like sweet potatoes or very red food like beet root their urine/poop can change the color...

:...the orange spot could also mean your ig is entering his breeding season.How old is him???
:For dehydratation try to mix one coffee spoon of sugar + a quarter of coffee spoon of salt in his drinking water bowl.It really works!!

: :So Tempest is feeling better and better as time goes by, but he's still far from ok. It looks like he is starting to eat more regularly, and he drinks a fair bit, but never when I'm about. I have yet to see him down in his cage unless I put him there, if I take him out I always put him in the middle or bottom. He has a pool at the bottom but I don't know if he's using it or not.

::I went to give him a clean towel today, and found a couple of poops - todays, and one I must have missed that he tucked into the towel. They are still pretty hard, so I'm sure he's still quite dehydrated, but at least he is passing something. I soak him in the tub every couple of days. Anyhow, the problem.

::When I took his towel out today, there was a big squishy blob of... something. It looked like squished pate in egg white, with something orange'ish. I have NO idea what it is, other than gross. Doesn't look like poop, he doesn't look like he's vomited, and I haven't fed him anything that resembles this pile of squish either. What could it be and how alarmed should I be?
::Help!
