I don't remember how old your iguanas are but clipping the nails shouldn't be too bad. Sleestack doesn't like it but he mainly just tries to walk away from me or fling his arm back right when I'm about to clip a nail to freak me out!

Actually an idea that has worked better for me is doing it while he is very distracted...like when he is eating! This seems to work well.
