I did get rid of the mirror that night. I dont realy know if it is a male or female. The local pet store owner (who dosent sell Iggys) has a 15 year old HUGE male living in her store, and she (as well as others) has told me that Sage looks like a female. It is only about 17 months old, and I understand it may not be able to be sexed yet. Thanks for you answer!

:The mirror thing started a whole (peaceful) debate in the forum a few weeks ago. If it is to make the iguana not feel lonely, forget about it, they're not mammals, and will only view the reflection as competition. There are exceptions (so all u other fellas here don't start again! lol), but in general is best to be avoided.

:I never had females, maybe she is going into "the season"?. How do u know she's a female? If she is a female, remember they can still produce unfertile eggs, which can cause problems...

:Tell us how it goes, and welcome to this forum,

:IJ
