If Dex hasn't had an exam done for bone density in the last few years it may not be a bad idea just to have one on record. Signs of MBD most likely wouldn't show up after only a few months although it could be an early warning. My first guess would be system shock due to the hot water. If there's no recurrance of the shaking I would THINK that you'd be OK. Assuming that her vet is a qualified herp vet and s/he signed off on Dex's health I wouldn't think that there is any IMMEDIATE danger.
Since she IS a free roamer MBD is definitely something to be concerned about and the best way to handle it is probably to place several bulbs in her favorite basking spots throughout her roaming space - safely protected and secured of course and I would go with either a 100w or 160w spot mercury vapor bulb for this. Other than that, make sure that she's got the calcium rich diet going and occassionally suppliment with a PURE calcium as opposed to anything that has D3 in it. As with other vitimin/mineral supplimentation there IS such as thing as too much of a good thing.
One thing to keep in the back of your mind is the possibility of Vitamin B deficiency paralysis. Bloodwork would confirm or deny low blood levels and if they DID come back low an injection would most likely bring results within 24 hours. Having said that it does sound like you're a ways off from that at the moment.
Keep an eye on things and if there is any recurrance of symptoms make note of them and touch base with your vet.
