I dont trim my igs claws. When I did that I always cut too short they didnt like it and started to hate me because of that.I prefer to use gloves.

Ozzy had his claws trimmed the other day. About time, nicknamed him Freddy Krueger. With a pair of small scissors and my daughter to help hold his attention we went to work.
:It was SO easy!!!! we put it off for so long because, honestly I thought he would try to kill me, maybe go right for my jugular or something.
:But, He was a big boy about it. Just sat there like he was paying me to do it lol. I think he actually liked it. I was very careful to only get that little hook off, you know where the claw starts to turn color. On one I went a micrometer too far and got a little blood, but he was ok about it. Thought he would hold a grudge, but he's cool.
: I placed a post a week or so ago about him biting. I think I got that stopped. Everytime I would tap his head and say NO!
:Then it went from a tap to a harsh finger pointing and a stern NO!
:Now if he acts like he's going to try to bite me, I'll just point that finger and he stops and closes his eyes the way he does when Im rubbing his neck ( he loves it when I do that)
:Hopefully he wont bite again, although he's about to start getting interested in girls and growing hair in funny places.
:Well, then I'll just keep the methiolate handy :)
:Another by the way, you can finally look and see a bulge in his vent :) I gots me a boy! It's about time, ive been outnumbered in this house too long.
