In the last survey there was found to be less than 25 of these animals left in the wild. There is an estimation that there are less than 120 individuals left worldwide. As a keeper of Cyclura and particularly lewisi hybrid Cyclura, I find this very disturbing. Fortunately, there are efforts being made to save this magnificent lizard and anyone that wants to can help. If this is something that would interest you, please visit the website posted.
