I am glad you have had some good luck and thanks for sharing your techniques...good ideas.
I would be concerned about letting an iguana on my kitchen counters, let alone pooping in my sink. It just seems like a bad idea to have their waste which can carry salmonella and all manner of parasites near food prepping areas. You are very lucky if you have never been sick. I do let my iguana poop in my bathtub but I sanitize it (and I don't even use that tub). It is just something to think about. If you were a restaurant there would be some major health code violations there! :-D hee hee... And not to single out iguanas...I wouldn't want any animals on my kitchen counters.
