emphasis on *slow*!!! iZ *still* has healing spots on his tail from an injury last december! even after 3 months, they're still scabbed over trying to grow new skin/scales ... check back with your vet and/or a second vet, but igs are cold blooded remember ...

ps! re: iZ's tail ... the swelling + infection went away/cleared up a couple weeks after the injury (with baytril + 3x antibiotic) ... now he just needs *time*
