Just an FYI Oxbow Critial Care is exactly what the name implies. It is used for CRITIACAL CARE- not long term nutrition. Whenever we have taken in an iguana in critical condition our vet uses OCC for short-term feeding. We have also used it on other lizards for the same purpose. Additionally, as the iguana begins to get better the OCC can be used in conjunction with juiced salad. IMHO OCC is a much better short term solution than any meat product be it baby food, dog food or cat food.
:The redflags for me are the apparently significant amounts of oats, wheat and soy. Grains are high in phosphorous and can block the uptake of various minerals and trace elements, while soy is goitrogenic (impedes iodine uptake which in turn impairs thyroid function).
:On a short-term basis, this might be okay, but they are the main reason why so many of the commercial food products for herbivorous reptiles are so bad... ;)
