Post vet photo:
Photo first day home:
:Tempest's trip to the vet went very well all things considered. Other than acting up enough to make the vet comment, and the tech look surprised ( I warned them! ), he seems healthy, but thin. He's had a broken toe in the past but its well healed, all his nails are now ground down, and he is in good shape and just needs some TLC and food. I should hear about the bloodwork tomorrow some time, he wasn't sure if I wanted it done because of the cost. I said hey, in for a penny, in for a pound. I'd rather know, and have a good starting baseline, then have massive problems in a few months.
:Now all I need to do is get him a fecal. He saw all my scratches, which is what got him to call his tech, he didn't quite trust my ig handling ablilities ;) I told him it was from Tempest in the bathtub last night, as I was trying to get a fecal! I get fewer scratches when he's in the laundry tub, but he can't move as much and I figured if he was moving around, he'd drop one if he had it in him! I will take one in as soon as I have a sample.
:So someone has taken care of Tempest, I really have to wonder how he ended up so thin, in a parking lot in the cold. Now its getting him fattened up, and tamed up, both of which I think are going to be quite a challenge. I am glad he seems in good health though :) I was so worried there would be something dreadfully wrong, and I'd have to put him down. Its all up from here!
