:My little ig-monster is becoming more and more like a puppy every day. I work from home on Monday's and my office is in the back of my house, right off of the kitchen. When I take lunch, I sit in the living room and watch my soap operas. Sebastian sees me sitting there and he claws on the cage of his door to come out. So, I let him out. He is only allowed to roam the living room, dining room and foyer areas (it's a decent sized area). Well, I let him stay out and roam while I went back to the back of the house to work and he settled into his favorite window spot for a while. But then he got bored. I walked into the room about an hour later and he came walking up to me and put his foot on my knee when I bent down to him with this "please mommy pet me" look on his face. So, I laid down on the floor with him and rubbed him behind the eyes and on top of the head and under his chin for a while. When he was done, he walked away and I went back to work. About an hour after that, I went back in the living room to talk on the phone and he came running out of the corner to see me and get some more petting. It's so funny how much he seems to be loving being pet. This started when he and I moved into our new house. In our last home, he couldn't come out much because of others living in the house but now his personality is just so cute and distinct. I love it!!! Of course, he has plenty of "mommy leave me alone" days, but my favorites are when he can't get enough attention. Just thought I'd share my smiles :-)
