Hi,
I have a question. I had to get a UVB Lamp for my ig and had to buy a lamp from arcadia. They are based in the UK. I have not heard a lot from them but i figured that some UV is better than nothing. In one of their pamphlets they wrote the following:
"High in UVA light for behavioural contentment...
It is now known that reptiles can see light in the UVA (320-400 nm) range. What a reptile sees affects its appetite. Reds are redder and greens are greener. A reluctant feeder needs UVA light to stimulate its appetite. "
Can any one confirm this, this is the first time i come across this.
Thanks
paul
