AFAIK, attitude and behaviors still don't photograph well. ;) "Feeling better" is often reflected first in attitude and behaviors, including appetite, digestion, thermoregulation, pooping, alertness, etc., things that will happen days or weeks before the iguana starts building muscle mass as activity level increases. Fat stores will be the last to appear as recovery requires more energy than maintaining an already healthy body requires, and in this ig's case, he's going to be consumming more energy because he's both recovering and and growing, so I'd expect to see the fat pads along the back and lower abdomen, and base of the tail, fill out last.
