Hi Traci and Welcome...
I'm the wet blanket in the group! Being as your new to Iguana raisins...thought I'd mention....
Where's the UVB? got some?...every ig wants some! needs some...fun in the sun a few hours a week or a full spectrum light ...with uvb output I run mine about 12 hours a day...they're VitaLites 5.0. got one? its a MUST-have Traci.
Also on your diet....everything looks great but ixnay on the turnip greens, turnip, carrots & kale (super high in oxalates/or goitrogenic) use those in moderation, not daily. Greens are tuff to come by where you live?...try frozen food section...lots of frozen collard just as good..even more calcium
so my nutrition book says go figure...dandelions mmmm mmm Igs say GOOD! flowers and all...the ones from your backyard, the pesticide free ones ...get rid of the roots tho, rinse em and voila! sometimes you can buy em...real big ones Igs don't care, big small flowers no flowers they'll eat em. Im not into supplements...Im the black sheep of the group here My igs are healthy for the most part and fat lazy slobs that haven't paid for themselves yet...thinking of putting them in commercials so they can earn their keep! Hang in there Traci...youre on the right track...good work!
