Critical Care!

Friday my vet gave me some critical care for Herbivores from Oxbow Pet Products. MY Desert Iguana is skinny and not eating well. So I put him on the food suppliment. I would also bath him each day. Well this morning I put him in the sun to warm up. Yesterday I did that and he loved it. Was very active and ate some lettuce. Today he just layed there even when he warmed up. I gave him a bath and put him back in the cage. His sides looked bloated. It wasn't long before I discovered a big poop in his cage. He was plugged up! He had completely changed and now active and eating lettuce. I called the vet and told her. She said to thin the mix way down to mostly liquid. So I did that and gave him some today. This afternoon he is net very active again! But he is not bloated. Has anyone else had any experience with this Critical Care mix? Has anyone else used another product to feed young reptiles to help them gain weight? I am also wondering if maybe he might be getting ready to shed his skin. His head is turning a whiter color, and the top part of his back is getting lighter. He also scratches his head by his eye with his back leg like it itches. Please, someone get back and let me know what you think could be the problem! Has anyone else had this problem with their Iggy's? Thanks! Bill.
