Well age is always impossible since his care is always unknown. I've seen 3 year old iguana larger than 7 year old iguanas so there is no point in guessing!
Your iguana could be male (anything is possible!) but females can have large spikes and femoral pores as well. Generally they are smaller than males but look at Sleestack's jowls and head compared to yours. My last male didn't have jowls so large but he did have the fat storage on the head (bumps). If he is over 3 years old, he will show more signs of gender than a younger iguana of course.
