I live in the New York area and it has been rather chilly up here. I do have a ceramic heat emitter that I plan on keeping on 24 hours a day. Is this appropriate? Also, after months of research, I finally acquired a green Iguana. I introduced it into its new home today and it seemed rather curious and "excited" about its new surroundings (it's about 4-5 inches long, nose to vent - any age estimates on this size Iguana?). However, it did not eat today. Is it normal for a newly introduced animal to skip eating the day it is introduced? Thank you ALL in advance for your assistance!
