I have an ig almost the same age!!Mine is 22 months and I suppose he will have horns too.Something weird is growing on his nose!LOL!!!Ill try to take a photo of his nose to post here .But I dont know if MY photo will be as good as yours because my apartment is TOO dark. The only place that is not TOO dark is the...bathroom!!!

PS Yes, people here are right!!Your ig is gorgeous!!!

:Thanks for the welcome! Sorry this picture is so big... I'll size them down in the future... You can see from this one that he definitely has horns! This was taken several weeks ago, and when he is indoors, his colors are generally muted a bit (but he changes colors a lot!).

:Fortunately, the bite I got was quick and not very hard. It bled a bunch, but by the next day there weren't even any marks.

:This breeding behavior is really wacko... One minute he's fine, the normal iguana I know, and then the next minute its like he's possesed by satan... But, if I reach over and pet his head (making sure he's not about to lunge at me), his aggression melts long enough for me to rub him a bit or feed him something. Weird. He only weighs about 5 lbs now... This will be a bit scarier when he weighs 2-3 times that!

::Welcome to this forum. You will love it!!People here are very nice and cooperative...and funny...and smart...Your message was very funny too!I also received a neck bite a few months ago and the big problem was that I needed to go to work and my ig didnt want to open his mouth!!I could not go to work with an iguana hanging on my neck!!Can you imagine my situation??
::I dont know what to do with your ig.My males normally are not so aggressive during the breeding season.I think the only thing to do is to wait until the season is over!!

::Your iguana is very beautiful and I will love to see more photos of him.It seems it will have horns?!!I have 3 iguanas with horns too.
