: BabyHerp mentioned something about Power Feeding our male iguana (see Stressed Mexican Iguana Adoptee) Does anyone know what this procedure is? I've tried mixing Vit. supplements in with blueberry jam (No additives) and have got him to lick it off a spoon, but not really take a mouth full. I heard from a friend locally that they used baby food (peas) to get theirs to start eating. Should I try mixing the Vits. in with some kind of healthy baby food? Any info is helpful.
: thanks

Baby food is a real good starter for ig's that are ill or off their food.Get mixed veggies and watch the ingredients for additives.Add the supps to the baby food and use gatorade or pedilyte to his water just enough to taste.Don't force feed but let him lick it or if you have friends neighbors and an army,,have them open the side of his mouth and soon some on his lips, teeth,He'll lick and like it.
If you have hibiscus flowers, try some of those. He'll do fine now that he has good parets to spoil him.Lots of double red hibiscus flowers to you all,and we need lots of photos of your babies and as Iz's mom said poop stories or a must a least once a week.
