They had this guy listed as a club tail iguana with the name "ctenosaura hemilopha". So I search and finally find stuff on them only to see that it translates to "spiny tail" There was a place tho that had pictures. The tail itself reminds me of a uromastyx's tail. The pix of the ctenosaura palearis looks a lot like what I saw but I think the tail of the one at the shop ended more bluntly. Anyway, rats, I thought I was about to solve the mystery.
