Sounds like he might have a minor burn (more serious ones include open wounds and permanent scarring!).

A heat source should never been accessible by the lizard. If they can get to it, they not only can they hurt themselves, but also pose the risk of a fire!!

keep an eye on the leg. Can you possibly get a picture of it?
