As far as my limited experience goes, that sounds normal to me. Spike takes a while to shed completely too, 2-3 weeks. And he sheds in certain areas first and then moves to other areas. Sometimes by the time he has completely finished, he has started again. :) I think that is normal although I could be mistaken. At any rate, your ig isn't the only one who does that. :)
