:If you are just worried about losing her I would suggest finding another vet. Iguanas shouldn't be given dog food...they do not need animal protein and this can cause major problems for them (like kidney failure). You could blend up calcium rich greens and veggies like collards, mustards, endive, escarole, watercress, squash and a little fruit like mango, melon, berries, papaya. The fruits should help hydrate but you could add extra water too. Please keep us posted.
I stopped the AD last night aroung 5 you are right it isn't good for them I just looked it up. But she was having a hard time swallowing it and in such bad shape I went with the vitacal for now
