:OK....Give us a little background here if you can....

:What has been the ig's daily diet?

:What are you using for a UV source?

:What sort of enclosure are you keeping the ig in and what are the average temps in it?

She is/was in a 8 foot high by 4 foot long by 2 foot high wood and plexus glass cage. I had to cut the top 4 feet off about 2 years ago because I
had another small one brought in that is over 5 feet long now also. She eats pretty pets dry iguana food and veggies this past week she was eating
cucumbers and Zucchini. She get vitamins (tetra brand but I have other brands I use if I am out and I haven't had any sent in Fluckers or Reptivite)
on her veggies and calcium. Plus she goes to the Vet clinic about three times a year and gets both Calcium and Vitamin shots. She has a zoo med
large heat rock I am not sure if they make the same type I bought it ten years ago when I first got her. Each lizard has a 24 inch vita light. I am not
sure if they make those either cuz I bought 20 bulbs 10 years ago and still have some left. My other bid Lizard only eats zoo med dry food and
vegetables. Neither will eat the other brand. She had an antibiotic shot and calcium shot on Thurs and the vet is coming here today to give her
another one. Greenie was this vets first lizard 10 years ago but now people drive from 100's of miles to have their iguanas seen by her. Greenie
used to be social and visit all the schools in the area along with going to fairs and different groups to do talks. A little about me. I have a MS and
work with children. I also have volunteered at the Vet clinic and Animal shelter for the past 7 years. I have over 30 animals in and out side my
house right now. Which consists of pretty much everything including squirrels and at times hawks owls and even a baby raccoon or skunk until
we can get them to another more appropriate center. I am telling you this because I don't want you to think that I am not experienced with reptiles
and animals. I was 10 years ago when I first got her. I have feed all of the sick ones including her AD before when They have been sick . I have
been trying to give the large male away since he got here because that is her cage and she needed the whole cage. Most of the babies from the fair
that were brought in had something really wrong with them and I nursed them back to health and found homes for them. I have had ones in with
MBD, rubber jaw, mouth rot not having the right kind of lights and even one with a necrotic leg which the vet removed and it did fine for a while
then it did die. I still have one small one left here that I haven't been able to adopt out yet. The only thing different this year is that she never laid
eggs in May like she usually did but I thought this may be due to her age. And a mouse got in her cage (I could see where it had sat in the corner
and she had tried to hit it and broke her tail in several places so the Vet and I removed her tail. She is water Box trained and the mouse must have
came up through the hole the water box sits in. Also there are kids that come in and out of the house and I think one turned off the switch that
runs the heat rocks so she may have gotten cold. I used to have a thermometer in there but for some reason she hated it and spent lots of time
ripping it down so I took it out. The male is fine that is in the top half of the cage. I am usually on the ebay animal boards but when I asked what the age span for an iguana is they suggested that I
come here. Sorry to ramble but I was, up most of the night with her. I have a big decision to make in the next few hours before the Vet gets into town to the office so I can tell her if she needs to bring the stuff to PTS or the meds shot.
