Shedding is a very complicated thing!!Godzilla, my 5/6 years old male iguana, for instance, only sheds some parts of his body.Last week he shed his dewlap and this week he is shedding his dorsal crest.But I really dont remember the last time he shed his body and tail!!!I suppose it was a long time ago!!

:How long does it take for an iguana to complete a shed? My ig has started around the head and the arms. The area around his belly is also shedding, but the rest of his body and tail has not started yet. I do keep the enclosure humid and spray him with water at least once a day. Will it just start on it's own?
