Good diet, temps, surroundings and good UV will do that for an ig. Especially when young, the greener the better. As igs age they DO tend to darken to various degrees but a brown coloration in a hatchling/juvenal will most likely indicate either stress, poor health or any variations of the two... Sounds like you're doing an excellent job... Keep up the great work. You might want to look into getting a copy of James Hatfield's "Green Iguana: The Ultimate Owner's Manual" to have on hand. If nothing else you can pick it up at Herpsupplies.com. Take a lok at their prices on everything else you might need as well. We've done all of our reptile business there exclusively for 3 years now.
