Well today I cleaned out Roxy's cage. She sat peacefully on her shelf while good 'ole ma (me!) cleaned up here newspaper and did a full sweep and wipe of her floor....
I honestly have not been able to do this for months. Before people "freak" out.....I haven't been able to do more than quickly removing the soiled piece and replacing it if I am lucky before Roxy would throw another hell raising violent fit at me. Taking her out to do the job was causing more harm than good as well.
But we are slowly making progress! AND GUESS WHAT?
I enticed Roxy to come down to the floor for her first time in like 5 MONTHS! I cut a big plate of strawberries and watermelon for her and laid it down, then I placed my dark green sheet over all three plexi-windows and left her. And when I came back she had traveled down to eat. With no fit, or anything!
YAY! Hope tomorrow goes just as well! Now all we have to really work on is getting her to the floor to poop in her kitty pan again like she used too! :)
