I cannot answer about the similarities between Varanids but I can say that they do expell salt through their nose (to cool off or rid themselves of excess salt). We like to call it "snalt" hee hee


:Do Iguanas and Varanids have the same kind of salt glands enabling them to blow/"sneeze" salt out their nose ?
